About This Tour
Amboseli National Park sits at the foot of Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, and is renowned for its large elephant herds and unrivalled views. The park's open terrain and swamps create a photographer's paradise, especially at sunrise when Kilimanjaro's summit catches the first light. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Depart Nairobi at 7:30 AM, drive south via Namanga (4 hours). Enter Amboseli and enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge. Afternoon: game drive around the swamps where elephants, hippos, and waterbirds congregate. Sunset views of Kilimanjaro from the lodge.
